Poole Sailability
We are proud to support Poole Sailability, a wonderful charity that gives people with impaired health or disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the freedom, fun, and friendship of sailing.
A little about Poole Sailability
Based at Rockley Park Holiday Park in Hamworthy, Poole Sailability provides safe, supervised sailing sessions in the beautiful surroundings of Poole Harbour — one of the world’s largest natural harbours. Their fleet of stable, comfortable 20-foot Hawk keelboats, crewed by experienced volunteers, allows individuals and groups to get involved, whether learning to sail or simply enjoying time on the water.
"On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings from April to October, our members can learn to sail or just enjoy being on the water with assistance from our experienced and friendly volunteers. You can be sure of a warm welcome whether you are a first-timer or an experienced sailor."
With accessible shore facilities, a dedicated Safety Boat for support, and a calendar of social activities, Poole Sailability offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
